Wherein our hero goes slowly batshit...

So, it’s been almost 48 hours since I’ve had a cigarette. Now, I like to joke that ‘quitting cigarettes is easy - I do it all the time!’, but I am really feeling the lack of nicotine this time.

So, of course, I decided to walk through Chinatown today. Specifically, north up Mott to Canal, and then west on Canal to Lafayette. Worst. Walk. Ever. I have never felt so misanthropic and all-around hateful as I did when I was ssssssssllllllllloooowwwwwwlllllyyyyyyyyyyy making my way through the throngs to the Canal Street 6 station.

I was contemplating how best to use the frozen dumplings I had just purchased as a weapon. My mind skipped right past just smacking people with the bag, and instead was filled with the image of jamming single frozen dumplings into the eye sockets of the mouth breathers who were ambling about at a snail’s pace. I bet they would have gotten out of my way then!

Maybe it’s a good thing that I’m staying in tonight…
